About
Daniel O'Donnell testified for the prosecution on Day 15 as a Google records custodian, identifying account records and explaining application-acquisition dates. The court admitted six exhibits without defense objection.
He identified records for Camila's Gmail account, clarewbronfman@gmail.com, and thebeacon2009@gmail.com. Subscriber records listed Camila and, for thebeacon2009@gmail.com, Emiliano Salinas. O'Donnell distinguished original application downloads from updates and read acquisition dates including January 1, 2017, for Signal and May 21, 2017, for G Data Secure Chat and Orbot. He explained that subscriber and profile details came from users and was unsure whether Google Plus required users to enter their own birthday.
On cross-examination, Marc Agnifilo questioned him about the Signal Private Messenger entry in Government Exhibit 1588-B. O'Donnell believed Signal was a secure messaging application but acknowledged limited familiarity with it and could not say whether users could edit chats after making them. The government declined redirect, and the court excused him.
