Google records were admitted before Daniela completed direct testimony about leaving for Mexico, obtaining identification and helping Camila. Cross-examination addressed false IDs, theft, her relationship with Raniere and hacking instructions, and remained unfinished at adjournment.

Full day summary

Google records custodian Daniel O'Donnell identified subscriber and application records, including accounts listing Camila, Clare Bronfman and Emiliano Salinas. He explained that users supply subscriber information. The court admitted six exhibits without defense objection. On cross-examination, he said he was unfamiliar with Signal and unsure whether users could edit their chats. Daniela completed direct examination about her isolation, departure for Mexico, recovery of identification and efforts to help Camila. She said she continued writing because she understood it to be her only way out of the room and feared being sent to Mexico without money or papers. She described crossing into Mexico after her father gave her 1,500 pesos and a watch, later obtaining a birth certificate with a lawyer's help, and developing financial independence through employment. She also described sharing her experiences with Adrian and arranging for him to drive Camila toward Mexico. The court admitted a recording, journal materials and forwarded emails. Jurors were instructed that the recording, not its accompanying transcript, was evidence. Following a hearsay and relevance dispute, the court allowed Camila's statements only to explain their effect on Daniela, not for their truth. Marc Agnifilo began cross-examination with questions about false identification, theft, Daniela's early relationship with Raniere and computer hacking. Daniela acknowledged arranging a false Mexican ID for Camila but said it was for domestic flights. She separately admitted entering the United States using a false card. She recognized her handwritten breach-plan list but said she did not remember its entries and that parts were exaggerated. Confronted with Kristin Keefe's email listing hacking targets, she maintained that Raniere had already supplied them. She explained that she selected passages from noisy key logs to compile a text file. Cross-examination remained unfinished at adjournment.
