Dawn Morrison

Dawn Morrison appeared in Lauren Salzman's and Daniela's testimony about Raniere's inner circle and sexual relationships. Salzman identified Morrison as an inner-circle member; Daniela said Morrison seemed to belong to that circle but was not around very much. During direct examination, Salzman said Morrison had invited her to a sexual encounter with Raniere. Salzman also described a separate occasion with Morrison present when Raniere tried to pull off Salzman's pants despite her refusals. On cross-examination, Salzman confirmed that he stopped after she told him to stop several times.

Morrison also figured in financial and photographic evidence. Salzman described a bag of small cash envelopes that appeared to contain Morrison's royalty payments for a business idea Raniere had given her. She said the envelopes bore Morrison's handwriting, dates, and amounts, and that Raniere left the money with Nicki, who passed it to Salzman. During Brian Booth's testimony, the court admitted Government Exhibit 252 without objection, a stipulation identifying Morrison in specified photographs from the Government Exhibit 511 series. Later testimony identified her photographs in a Studies folder labeled D.
